We are proudly small. Our goal is to build a SESA centre of excellence that predominantly services the Victorian railway industry.
There are a fair few service providers similar to us. So what makes us different?
1. Pragmatism. If there is a way to solve your problem, we'll find the shortest path. We are not in the business of generating our own work and like to see results as much as our clients do.
2. Competence. All of our consultants have both the theoretical foundations and the hands-on delivery experience to be successful in their roles. We do not accept work that we're not competent to deliver.
3. Dedication. We will stay until the work is done. We strive on challenges and deliver where others say "too hard".
4. Value for money. We will do no more than what our clients need. We will try to find the most appropriate solution to your problem and maintain our focus until we resolve it for you.
To ensure that we can maintain our values as we grow, it has been clear from the beginning that Mage Consulting must be an employee-owned business where our employees are an integral part of the company's success - and are the ones that reap the benefits. Our employee share plan has a practical structure that ensures all client-facing staff can be compensated proportionately to their contribution to the company's success.
A key pillar of our culture is transparency: the salaries in the company as well as the members' (shareholders) register are available to all employees. Our employee share plan is open and available to the public.
Secondly, we are determined to remain a lean, specialist organisation that focuses on delivering a niche service. Thus we take all opportunities to keep our overheads low and provide a competitive offer to both clients and employees.
Growth is a secondary consideration for us. The primary goal is to be the place where clients come when they have a complex SESA issue, and where employees come to genuinely advance their careers.
